Tel. 0041 76 531 15 38 Thea, whose own career started in Ticino, Switzerland, comes from a long line of hair stylists in her family. “Since I was very young, I knew that working with people was one of my greatest passions. Combining that with my love for hair and fashion, hair styling was an easy choice for me.” Thea travelled all over Switzerland gaining vast experience, and in 1999 she moved to London, UK, to join the Toni & Guy Academy. “I spent some time working as the Director Stylist at the Wimbledon branch of Toni & Guy, where I was involved with all facets of cutting, styling and colouring hair.” She further specialized in classical and modern haircuts and styles as well as innovative and fascinating colour techniques. “I had always wanted to open my own salon, and two years after returning to Switzerland in 2004 I realised my dream.” Thea attends regular advanced vocational training courses to keep her one step ahead of the latest trends and techniques in men's and women's hair. “I've learned that the finest details are what make the difference between good and great hairstyling. With a goal of service excellence, my added passion for what I do ensures I consistently achieve this goal.” Thea speaks four languages: English, German, French and Italian. An Xpat Reports: "I just want to share my dresser experience this week. When the week started I had really really long hair. The problem was it was a bit getting in the way so I decided to cut it a little bit. I went to a shop in Oerlikon after work and then when I went out my hair was short and the cut was really ugly...made me look 10 years older. This depressed me so much that I decided to get another haircut even if it means that it will be very short. I had my second haircut with Thea Colson http://www.theacolson.ch/location.htm and for the first time in the 3 years I am in Switzerland I have a smile on my face coming out of the hairdresser (that's why I grew it long). She is really good. She trained with Toni and Guy in London for 4 years. I highly recommend her. She made me happy again."

En Vogue Coiffure (They have MULTIPLE locations) An Xpat Reports: "I went in to the Bahnhofstrasse location and had Manos cut my hair. It was my first time and I was a bit apprehensive but I showed him the cut I liked and asked for his opinion. I walked out feeling like a million dollars. My hair was beautiful and if you've ever had a bad haircut you know what kind of effect a great haircut has on a person. I could keep going about how great my experience was... En Vogue is a bit on the pricier side (my haircut cost CHF 120) but the service is very professional and very much worth it!"
An Xpat Reports: "This was my second time going to this salon. The first time was fine. This time I got a hair cut and highlights, neither were very good, and I was charged a good deal of money. The stylist and his associate also kept pressuring me about hair extensions. It was like they did not do a good job on my hair so that I would purchase hair extensions. It was insulting and very disappointing. I had to get my hair fixed at another salon- and they gave me a great cut and color like I asked for without any insulting pressure about hair extensions." -email 12.10.09

I bring all the neccessary equiptment, you must do nothing other than sit back relax and be pampered. I bring towels, vacume cleaner, profi wash basin (no upside down in the sink) this is totally like having the salon come to you. Perfect for mums with kids, groups looking for a little hair and wine party, weddings, Balls or Business events, boarding schools and so forth...Late night apt after the kids are in bed are no problem... Simply put if you find it difficult to get to the salon, why not have the salon come to you! I speak English + German so my service is open to expats + locals alike.
