In 2009, the ViewFinder Center for Photography gives you many opportunities to learn, share and have fun with photography. We've got a full schedule of digital photography classes from January - June. Whether you are just getting started and need to sort out all those dSLR camera settings and lens options, or you are already an experienced photographer looking to hone your skills, our one-day and evening classes are designed to help you express yourself in photography and achieve beautiful results with your camera.
Our “Getting Started” classes cover the basics and then some, with a balance of technical discussion and time for hands-on experimenting with your camera. The “Creative” classes give you an opportunity to focus on developing specific skills, such as lighting, or take you in-depth on certain subjects, such as people and travel.
New for 2009 we have a series of Digital Darkroom classes covering various aspects of the “digital workflow” and show you how to use software tools to process and enhance your photography, and explore the creative possibilities of working in your own digital darkroom.
All ViewFinder classes and workshops are held in Winterthur and taught in English by working professional photographers. Classes are limited to ten people to make sure everyone has time for hands-on learning. Classes fill up quickly, so register early to secure your spot. Class fees includes 6 hours of instruction taught by a working professional photographer; class materials and CD, a light lunch, and a lot of fun.
