Oak Hill School from their website: "Oak Hill School offers a unique half-day programme to students with diagnosed learning disabilities or attention deficit disorders, who are experiencing difficulties in the mainstream classroom. The language of instruction is English and the school serves the international community in the Lac Léman area in Switzerland. The programme provides students with three highly structured, multi-sensory instructional periods in reading, written language and mathematics. Students continue to attend their regular school for the remainder of their day, allowing them to participate in the mainstream curriculum, attend extra-curricular activities and maintain normal social interactions. Oak Hill aims to foster the self-esteem of those students who have failed to thrive in a normal school setting. Achievements are celebrated on a daily basis and the programme enables each individual to realise his or her true potential. posted: 15.05.08

SIS Swiss International School Zuerich Through our structured day school (Kindergarten to Grade 6), we provide an attractive, safe, caring and stimulating learning environment which allows pupils to become confident, independent learners in both German and English. Self-assertion, sharing, playing, meals with others: all these activities strengthen the child's own abilities and promote social integration. A broad and balanced curriculum, delivered through learning by subjects and experimentation within themes, enables the students to develop academics and independent learning skills and to strengthen their use of language at their own pace. Using an amalgamation of internationally and nationally recognised curricula, we provide the perfect foundations for students to successfully graduate to the bilingual College offered at SIS Swiss International School. posted: 23.02.09

Swedish School of Geneva PRIMARY SCHOOL (SWEDISH-FRENCH)
The Swedish School of Geneva’s primary school welcome students from the year they turn 6 years old. We follow the Swedish National curriculum with instruction carried out in both Swedish and French. We adhere to the principle of “one teacher – one language” which means that each teacher speaks only his or her native tongue, which creates excellent opportunities for the students to develop both languages. We also offer an expanded instruction of English compared to the regular Swedish curriculum. The education is adapted to each individual student’s circumstances and needs. For more detailed information about our education, please request the national curriculum Lpo94 as well as the Swedish School’s detailed work plan. Welcome to the Swedish School in Geneva! We also offer a Swedish-French or an English-French pre-school and we have an extensive offer of language courses, for both children and adults. posted: 10.02.11 Swiss International School - Zurich North Industriestrasse 50 8304 Wallisellen Tel: (044) 830-7000 Fax: (044) 830-7007 Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
