Nursery nurses (m/f)

Contracts between 60-100% possible

The centres operate groups according to the tandem model: baby groups (3M-2Y), nursery groups (2Y-4Y), pre/kindergarten groups (4Y-6Y). We are open from 7.00h to 19.00h and you will work on a basis of 8.5 hours per day in early or late shifts.

Your responsibilities:

- responsible care for the children through the establishment of stability, rituals and friendships in the groups
- stimulation of the physical, intellectual and emotional development of the children through targeted pedagogic working concepts
- planning/preparation and realization of the cantonal kindergarten curriculum (ZH, ZG, SH) as well as the IB (PYP) program of the international school for the age group of 3-6 years
- identification with and realization of the core principles of our own globegarden curriculum „discovering the world step by step”
- daily cooperation with the parents (conversation on the children’s development)
- assistance and tackling of problems when worst comes to worst, substitutional adoption of  responsibility for colleagues and support of the entire team

Your strengths ideally include:

- you are capable of caring for 5-8 children of the age of 2 and above and 4-5 children of the age 3months-18months on your own

Your qualifications:

Ideal candidates have completed their vocational training in nursery teaching or in pedagogics. German applicants need to hold an officially recognized educator certificate. The training needs to be recognized by the EDK. A high level of motivation, proactivity and team orientation as well as a thorough knowledge of the German and/or English language (mother tongue English or German) complete the ideal profile.
