The American Women of Ticino Celebrating 20 Years

The American Women of Ticino commonly known as AWOT will be celebrating their 20thanniversary as a club. In 1990 sixteen women came together to form an organization with the intent of meeting the needs of American women living in Ticino.  Now that 20 years has passed, and more than 250 women have been involved at some time with the organization, the focus of being a strong support group for its members continues.  This year, they would like to honor, not only those who founded the group, but also the members who have made AWOT what it is today.   In recognition of this momentous occasion the club will be hosting a 20th Anniversary Gala at the Villa Sassa in Lugano on Friday September 10th, 2010.
