This free social club was created last year for water gardeners in the towns around Geneva, Vaud, and neighboring France. Free informal meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month from 2 to 6 p.m. (14:00-18:00) in club members' homes and gardens.

Over snacks and drinks by the water lily ponds, experts with several ponds and years of experience as well as amateurs just planning their first pond discuss ponds in both French and English. Topics include pond design and construction, koi and goldfish feeding and breeding, aquatic plant selection and propagation, making ponds safe for children, and related subjects. Visitors are always welcome with prior notice. Members freely share their excess fish, plants and pond equipment.

Free membership with no obligation is available on the club's web site, along with full details about the next monthly meeting. The site's Message Board section features dozens of articles on trouble-free biological filters, healthful fish foods, algae prevention, heron exclusion, pond winterizing, and other topics of interest to water gardeners.
