Galerie Quint-Essences Style: Gallery & tea room, intimate and unique due to its exposed beams and sloping roof: a haven of peace where original art by talented young artists and an open, warm atmosphere take visitors out of time and set them at ease. Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 12 :30 to 5 :30 pm and by appointment. Present Exhibition: John Richard Phillips from Sydney, Australia, through the 28th of April. An exceptional exhibition on the theme of water, its fleeting perspectives and beauty and the relationships created between man and water: "Dialogues in Water." SPECIAL NOTE: John will be offering an oil painting class on the difficult aspects of dealing with water on March 24 from 1-5 p.m. for only 40 francs per person – enrollment required by e-mail (see above) or mobile phone (079 255 0308) with the curator. Saturday Art-Teas: take place at 3p.m. with either the exhibiting artist or the curator. Cost: free, however, your generous donation helps to defray the cost of keeping 25 types of tea and cookies/cakes stocked for your pleasure, as well as maintaining our search for new, upcoming artists to grace our walls throughout the year. Additional activities offered: the Galerie Quint-Essences offerings are extremely varied and may be found on our Agenda on our website. Certain activities are regular (English conversation, coaching workshops, art courses, etc.), others a one-time or sponsored activity. It's a good idea to check frequently. Programs change and are added on a regular basis: http://www.galerie-quint-essences.ch. Training & Coaching possibilities: If self-development or team communication and positive paradigm changes are of interest, check the calendar for the dates of upcoming interactive training and coaching programs such as "Drawing Your Dragons," a down and dirty workshop to become aware of and deal with those niggling cyclical challenges, define our tools to reduce or do away with them while bonding with a new, trusting team of people who may become a support group later on. Contact us for further information or to request specific, additional training and coaching programs. Future Exhibitions: May will be a RETRO-introspective of the works of the artists who exhibited during our first two years – should be spectacular and a wonderful way to see how our artists have grown and changed techniques and media! And April will be a total surprise with two galleries and a restaurant participating for a memorable evening out! posted: 02.05.06
